May 6, Arcus Studio & Office will start up
Everyone,
We, Arcus Studio has been closed since March 11, however we are able to work at Manabino-sato from May 6 as usual as before.
Now Japan is on Spring holiday week, all e-mails' replay will come later 3 days-holiday will be over.

Be True to Your School in Singapore Biennale
2010年度招へいアーティストのソンミンアンが、シンガポールビエンナーレに参加しています。そこで、アーカスプロジェクト滞在中に制作した『Be True to Your School』が好評を得ているようなので、展示風景の写真を公開します。

Artists’Action for JAPAN（参加アーティスト大募集中！！！）
が茨城県にやってきます。
会場はイーアスつくばです。
アーカスプロジェクトも応援団の一員として協力しています。

一般来場者はもちろん、
当日、絵を描いて、被災地の応援をしたいと願っているアーテイストの方を募集しています！ ！！
参加にあたって、アーテイストの方々へ、以下の事をお願いしています。 Artists’Action for JAPANに登録したすべての作品は、Artists’Action for JAPANの所有となります。サイトでの公開、希望者への譲渡などは、すべて事務局に一任いただきます。 当日会場までの交通費はご負担下さい。画材持参で会場に来て下さい。持参される画 材・道具については、以下の点にご注意下さい。用紙はＡ４サイズのケント紙・和紙を事務局で準備します。それ以外の素材はお持ち下さい。会場が汚れる可能性のある画材（木炭、スプレー類、油絵の道具など）は禁止。水彩の水・廃液は各自ペットボトル等でご持参・お持ち帰り下さい。においのでるもの、土や粉など会場が汚れる可能性があるものは持ち込まないで下さい。ゴミは原則お持ち帰り下さい。火気の使用は厳禁です。特殊な画材を使いたい場合は事務局までお問い合わせ下さい。 ※参加いただいた方にも、会場の設営・運営などのご協力をお願いすることがあります。 ※当日、参加できるアーテイストの方は、参加の意思をあらかじめメールで教えてください。参加申し込み（アーティストの方）： ibaraki@aa4j.org （宮島依子まで）

"Tohoku no Tomodachi" Friends of Tohoku - Art Fundraiser for Japan
2006 resident artists of ARCUS Project (Tiffany Chung, Goh Ideta, Tea Mäkipää, Sudsiri Pui-ock) will join in fundraiser exhibition in Vietnam.

April 15 - 29, 2011 / Galerie Quynh, 65 De Tham St, Dist 1, HCMC
In response to the recent disasters that have struck Japan, seventeen artists from Vietnam as well as the international community have contributed artworks to raise money for Red Cross Japan. These artworks, comprising various media including painting, draw-ing, installation, photo and video, will be shown in the exhibition “Tohoku no Tomodachi (Friends of Tohoku): Art Fundraiser for Japan,” organized by Tiffany Chung and Pamela Corey in collaboration with Galerie Quynh. From April 15 -29, works by this group of artists will be available for purchase (with prices ranging from US$300 to US$10,000) and 100% of proceeds from sales will go to Red
Cross Japan.
Hưởng ứng lời kêu gọi từ những thảm họa đã tấn công Nhật Bản gần đây, mười bảy nghệ sĩ Việt Nam cũng như cộng đồng nghệ sĩ quốc tế đã đem tác phẩm của mình để bán gây quỹ cho Hội Chữ Thập Đỏ Nhật Bản. Những tác phẩm này bao gồm nhiều thể lọai như tranh sơn dầu, tranh vẽ nét, sắp đặt, nhiếp ảnh và video sẽ được trình bày trong triển lãm mang tên ‘Tohoku no Tomodachi (Những người bạn của Tohoku): Triển Lãm Mỹ Thuật Gây Quỹ vì Nhật Bản’ được tổ chức bởi Tiffany Chung và Pamela Corey, cùng cộng tác với Galerie Quynh. Từ ngày 15 tới 29, các tác phẩm sẽ được bán (với mức giá từ US$300 tới US$10,000) và 100% số tiền thu được sẽ được chuyển tới Hội Chữ Thập Đỏ Nhật Bản.

Kết hợp với triển lãm tại Galerie Quỳnh cũng sẽ có những thiết kế của các nhà thiết kế thời trang Chương Đặng (Việt Nam) và Chương Phạm (Việt Nam/Mỹ) sẽ được bày bán tại tại phòng tranh, và tất cả các lợi nhuận thu được sẽ được quyên góp cho Hội Chữ Thập Đỏ Nhật Bản.
