守谷にもようやく冬らしい寒さがやってきましたね。
お待たせいたしました。
アーティストが守谷で過ごした３か月の経過／成果を徐々にお見せします。
12/11,12に開催されましたOPEN STUDIO#3『てん』、
会場の様子をイベントごとに随時公開。
It is getting colder and colder in Moriya city.
Please welcome, we would like to introduce that resident's process and results during their stay in Moriya.
12/11 8:30a.m.。朝の守谷駅。モコバス乗り場前にはアーカスプロジェクトの案内があります。
8:30a.m. 11th of Dec,@ in front of MoCoBus stop (Moriya Community Bus)/Moriya station.
our event information board was installed.
もりや学びの里のエントランスには...直筆のサインボードでお出迎え。
ジェイソンの古いコンピュータ、つばささんの電動ドリル、ソンミンの鉄琴、デヴィッド&ケルダのコミューター。それぞれのキーワードが象徴されています。
the Entrance of Moriya Manabi no Sato, we welcome to guests with hand-writing signboard by Jason.
His old computer, Tsubasa's electric drill, SongMing's glockenspiel, and David&Kelda's Commuter ....each keyword are symbolized on it.
ようやく最後のオープンスタジオが始まりました。
Finally, the last Open Studio_#3 "TEN" started.
まずはソンミン＆ジェイソンのわくわく自転車ツアー。
In the first place, "Waku Waku bike tour by SongMing Ang & Jason Kofke".
最初は松前台、守谷第一病院前のジェイソンの壁画。ここから東京への高速バスが発着します。日本で最初のSONYのテレビと、通信衛星。
The first location is pedestrian overpass where is in front of Moriya 1st Hospital in Matsumae-dai.
there is highway bus stop for Tokyo in Matsumae-dai. the 1st SONY TV and a communications satellite were painted by Jason Kofke. It says; "Subete umaku iku (everything will be OK)" in Japanese on the wall.
反対側は古いコンピューターと通信衛星。
ここには「あなたは大切だ」とあります。バス停前なので、東京から守谷に着いて降り立った時の乗客へのメッセージともとれます。
Opposite side's mural painting is an old computer and communications satellite.
When Jason finished to painting, he left a message as "Anata wa Taisetsu da (you are important)".
As it is in front of bus stop that is for the highway bus arrives from Tokyo, it would be a message for passenger as well.
ソンミンがいちょうの葉を収集した並木道(ふれあい道路)を抜けて....
we pass through Ginkgo tree-lined Fureai Street, where SongMing has collected a lot of Ginkgo leaves...
ソンミンが守谷市内でリサーチ中に見つけた虹色の家を巡ってサイクリング。100円ショップで見つけた幼児向け鉄琴のおもちゃにヒントを得て、七色＝虹色の家の色を探し、
その色を本物の鉄琴に彩色再現したのです。他にも緑色、空色の家を案内してくれました。
Cycling tour takes them to Rainbow colors' houses in Moriya where SongMing found out in his research. At first, he got image from glockenspiel with 7colours by kid's toy at 100yen shop.Then, he searched for them in house's wall color. Magenta, Blue-green, Sky-Blue...SongMing guided participants to each house.
these colors of houses were painted on his Glockenspiel as same as he found out exactly.

薬師台／御所ケ丘にある後田歩道橋(バーミヤンの近く)にはジェイソンの壁画。
昔懐かしいテレビと8mmカメラとビデオカメラ。ここを通学する子供たちにはこんなものが使われていたことをいつか知るでしょう。
Jason's mural painting @ Ushiroda pedestrian overpass, where is in Goshogaoka and Yakushi-dai, near from Baameyan/Chinese restaurant.
there are Nostalgic old TV, 8mm camera, and Video camera, which is present-days children has never known these of communication tools were used. They will know it through conversation with their parents, family or friends by existent his mural painting.
スタッフが準備していたマップよりも早道を知っているソンミンとジェイソン。
マップから飛び出して別のルートでスタジオへ帰ってきました。途中、デヴィッドとケルダが発見した車のパーツ屋さんで立ち止まり、彼らの作品の出所を説明。あっぱれです。
SongMing and Jason got to know easier short cut route to the Studio. prepared-tour map by staff was useless! we ran away from the map, followed two of artists.
On the way to Studio, we stopped by Car parts' sheet metal plant, where David& Kelda has founded out in their research. SongMing and Jason explain about where D&K's works came from.

こうしてわくわく自転車ツアーは終了。スタジオではデヴィッドとケルダのトークが待っています。
Wakuwaku bike tour finished.Then, David & Kelda's artist talk event is waiting for participant at Studio.
